Ch10_07_Sermon_Jesus， who saved the man who fell among thieves (Luke 10:25-37)

The word we have read today is what our Lord spoke to a certain lawyer. People today look at this word and often make a resolve to become good people. They think that believing in Jesus is becoming a good person, and that what God wants of us is also that we become good people. And so many people misunderstand this word and wish that human beings would become truly good neighbors to people. Furthermore, cases in which human beings try to become saviors and deliverers to other human beings in place of God are extremely common. If a person knows the word of God well he is saved, but if he fits the word of God into religion and looks at the Bible only from the viewpoint of good deeds, morality, and ethics, he comes to commit a great error. He not only commits the error himself but also casts many people into error, with the result that he goes to hell himself and drags other people to hell as well.
